Certification of companies performing NS 9600
NS 9600-5 describes requirements for performing businesses that will deliver services using access technology as the access method.
The standard describes, among other things, requirements for roles and responsibilities, equipment, risk assessment, operational routines and quality management at the performing company.
The standard can be purchased from Standard Online (Standard Norway owns the standard).
Before applying
Before applying for certification, you should familiarize yourself with the standard and assess whether you meet the requirements defined there.
In addition to Part 5, performing companies must familiarize themselves with Part 1. Part 1 describes operational routines for access technology. Operational routines must be described in the company's routines/procedures.
All companies that apply must have:
- Have had their own projects for a minimum of 6 months where they are responsible for the execution of access technology (using their own personnel and management system)
- A permanently employed technical manager. The technical manager must be, or have previously been, a security manager (NS 9600). There must also be a deputy for the technical manager. The same requirements apply to the deputy.
- Described routines/procedures/documents that meet the requirements of NS 9600 – 1 and NS 9600 – 5
