Personnel certification NS 9600
SOFT sertifisering AS ("SSE") certifies personnel according to the requirements given in NS 9600-6. "NS 9600 - Access technology" is a national certification standard for access technology.
SSE is accredited by Norsk Akkreditering as a certification body for personnel and meets the requirements of NS-EN ISO/IEC 17024. The accreditation number is PERS 020.

Access technology
Access engineering (also known as industrial climbing) is a safe, efficient and cost-saving method for performing work in places that may be difficult to reach using other access methods.
Access technology can be used as an alternative to scaffolding, where work is to be carried out over a shorter period of time and where the number of operators performing work is limited, provided that this is equally acceptable in terms of risk.
NS 9600 - Access technology
NS 9600 is the Norwegian national standard for access technology. It is owned by Standards Norway and can be purchased from Standard.no.
The standard has been prepared by the committee SN/K 279 Work at height, in cooperation with representatives of authorities, oil companies, training companies, interest organizations and users. The methodological and technical basis is the use of ropes for access, work and rescue.
