About SOFT Certification
SOFT Sertifisering AS is a 3rd party independent certification body. SSE is owned by SOFT (Samarbeidsorganet for tilkomstteknikk). SSE is a certification body that specializes in work at height.
SSE provides the following certification services:
- Operator access technology NS 9600-6
- Training companies for access technology NS 9600-4
- Companies that provide access technology as a service NS 9600-5
- Training companies for fall protection NS 9610
Quality
The quality system is designed to ensure that the tasks performed are carried out in such a way that the result satisfies the requirements imposed by relevant laws, regulations and standards.
SSE shall deliver the right quality at the right time. The quality of services provided shall be equal and independent of who the customer is. SSE shall monitor the certification processes to ensure compliance for the right quality of services delivered.
SSE will work continuously to achieve the quality targets set by the company.
The QA manager is responsible for developing and auditing the company's quality system. The general manager is responsible for ensuring that the quality system is maintained and, through audits, investigating whether the system is being followed. Appropriate measures must be implemented if the system does not work/is not being followed.
SSE shall continuously improve the effectiveness of the quality management system by utilizing the quality policy, quality objectives, audit results, corrective and preventive actions and management review.
All employees in the organization must familiarize themselves with the quality policy. Employees also have a duty to provide input to increase the efficiency and credibility of the organization.
Everyone at SSE must support all quality improvement measures and work to ensure that the goals and guidelines that have been set are followed.
SSE shall provide certification services to the market in such a way that the market can be sure that SSE is reliable and that the market has confidence in the certification schemes.
Tasks must be carried out efficiently, without unnecessary delays.
SSE shall treat all information acquired in connection with certification with the utmost care. No information shall be shared with other parties without the consent of the party involved or if the law states otherwise.
The General Manager shall ensure that quality requirements are met and complied with.
Impartiality
Impartiality is essential for SSE to achieve the desired quality of the certification services. Everyone must be treated objectively and fairly based on the requirements defined in the certification schemes. We therefore have a strong focus on ensuring that all parties involved, both individuals and companies, are treated equally. Prior knowledge, negative or positive, should not influence our assessments and decisions to any degree. To achieve competent certification, we continuously assess our competence.
All individuals in SSE have assessed potential conflicts of interest. This is registered in our systems. When there is a conflict of interest, or it can be perceived as such, others will take over the task. Everyone in SSE is aware of their role in the certification process and shall handle this role professionally.
- SSE shall not be influenced by commercial or financial motives
- SSE will not be pressured
- SSE shall be objective and only consider facts when assessing cases
- All SSE employees must assess their impartiality in each individual case. If an employee is disqualified or feels uncomfortable with their impartiality, the employee must, on their own initiative, ask others in the company to take over the task.
- If employees have a personal interest in the certification or if employees believe that others may perceive a conflict of interest, the employee shall notify management and management shall take appropriate action.
- Employees of SSE shall not participate in the certification process if they have had an active role in the certification process of the certified party in the last 2 years.
Impartiality shall be a guiding principle for our certification activities.
