Certification course company access technology NS 9600
NS 9600-4 describes requirements for course companies that are to deliver courses in access technology that lead to a personal certification.
The standard describes, among other things, requirements for risk assessment, roles and responsibilities, course facilities, course administration, implementation of the training and quality management at the course company.
The standards are purchased from Standard Online (Standard Norway owns the standard).
Before applying
Before applying for certification, you should familiarize yourself with the standard and assess whether you meet the requirements defined there.
Course companies must familiarize themselves with NS 9600 Part 4. The company must also satisfy the requirements in Part 2 and Part 3, which describe admission requirements for courses and curricula.
The company must familiarize itself with the procedure "SSE-P103 Access technology - requirements for training companies". This is available in CertaSoft or by contacting SSE.
All companies that apply must have:
- A permanently employed technical manager. The technical manager must be, or have previously been, a security manager (NS 9600). There must also be a deputy for the technical manager. The same requirements apply to the deputy.
- Described routines/procedures/documents that meet the requirements of NS 9600-2, NS 9600-3 and NS 9600-4
- Course leader with 3 years of experience - and a minimum of 1000 logged hours as a security leader (NS 9600). Course leaders must also have 25 course days as an instructor in access techniques (NS 9600).
- Course rooms/rig and necessary associated facilities. Rooms for theoretical instruction.
